Practical answers about grade levels, scheduling, room setup, follow-up and how the program fits an existing prevention plan.
What grade levels is the assembly for?
Grades 6 through 12. Middle school and high school audiences receive different versions of the content, and most schools run the two sessions back to back on the same day.
Is the program fear-based?
No. The assembly is educational and proactive. There is no graphic content and no shock material. Students build confidence about recognizing warning signs and speaking up safely.
How long is a session?
Typically 45 to 60 minutes, which fits a standard bell schedule. Setup requires a sound system audible from the back row and, where available, a projector.
How interactive is it?
Very. Jim uses magic, audience participation with student volunteers, short video segments, and follow-up quizzes that teachers can run in advisory the following week.
Which states do you travel to?
Schools in all 50 U.S. states. Neighboring districts often split travel costs by scheduling sessions on the same day or during the same week.
Will the assembly reference our school's own reporting process?
Yes. Jim will name your tip line, counseling office or reporting form during the presentation so students leave knowing your process rather than a generic one.
Is this connected to the government program?
No. This program is not associated with the “See Something, Say Something” government program.
