Day one: expect a spike
Reports commonly increase immediately after an assembly. Staff the counseling office accordingly and brief teachers that a student may approach them that afternoon.
Treat every early report seriously and visibly. The first week sets the precedent.
Week one: run the quiz
A short follow-up quiz in advisory gives you retention data and re-states the reporting pathway without another all-school event.
Share aggregate results with staff so the message stays in adult conversation too.
Week two: close the loop publicly
Without naming students, tell the school that reports came in and were acted on. Proof of function is the single strongest driver of future reporting.
